Another fun session, introducing the game of pickleball to our newest group of  enthusiasts who came eager and ready to learn and play!! Awesome night with wind making for more laughs as we all know what happens when the wind takes over :)  Ready, set, go...See you on the courts!! Thanks to our BNPBC Instruction Team volunteers (Shirley, Allen, Guy!!)

Another fun morning teaching youth (ages 6-14) at the YMCA! Also noticing some returning young players who are getting hooked! Looking forward to the continued growth of pickleball amongst our young players and providing opportunities for instruction.   Thank you to our Instruction Team today (Michele Hanley, Karen O'Shea, Michelle Chow).

Great week of pickleball camp (July 8 - 12)  for youths (ages 11-14) taught by our Instruction Team (Cindy Leake, Elaine Stocks, Karen O'Shea, Karen Kelly, Michelle Chow) at the Evergreen Racquet Club!  Kids were awesome! They learned so much and we had a ton of fun teaching them!  More opportunities for kids programs will be in the works!

June 5 - June 26, 2024  Learn to Play (Youth) @ Rollingbrook Park 4-Week Clinic

Congratulations to our 16 youths (ages 8-15) for successfully completing 4 weeks (2-hr sessions weekly) in the beginning of their journey into pickleball! The BNPBC Ambassador Instruction Team had a great time teaching this wonderful group who braved the 80+ temps w/o complaints and did everything asked of them! They were kind, considerate, good sports, hard working, competitive, good listeners, etc Look for them on the courts!

June 20, 2024  Learn to Play Clinic @ Ironwood Park.  Introducing another terrific group of new Pickleball Players! They braved the hot temps to begin their journey into this wonderful sport for all! Thank you to our BNPBC Ambassador Instruction Team (Susie, Peggy, Shirley, Michelle C) for your time & expertise! We look forward to seeing our newest players on the courts!!

June 18, 2024 Girlfriends Hub Pickleball Clinic.

Super fun group of Ladies tonight! So much laughter and smiles, making it a joy for our BNPBC Ambassador Instruction Team to teach tonight! After clinic, ladies were already planning to start playing pickleball amongst themselves! Look to see them gracing the courts!

June 4, 2024. Our BNPBC Ambassador Instruction Team continues to spread the love of pickleball...

Fun evening of pickleball as we introduced members of the Bloomington-Normal Deaf Club to this super fun and addicting sport!! Great group of enthusiastic learners! Thank you to Interpreters, Ciera & Julie, for keeping up with me and to my assistants, Susie, Lisa, Wilson, and Sandra! We covered a lot in our Clinic and happy to know that a question in the end was « when will the next clinic be? »

We would also like to thank the Bloomington Normal Deaf Club for their generous donation to our Bloomington-Normal Pickleball Club!
