Super job ARC students on completing the 3-hour Pickleball Playbook Strategy Clinic this morning! They were awesome, enthusiastic learners and quick to pick up all we presented. No one even wanting to take a break! And then, after the clinic, they stayed for Open Play to start implementing their increased PB IQ :) Bravo!!

(open to the general public 7 held at the Bloomington Tennis & Turf)  Our BNPBC Instruction Team enjoyed introducing this fine group to the game! They learned quickly and we were very impressed with their game play! Thank you to Peggy (lead instructor) and Guy, Amy, and Michelle! Great way to start February! Now let’s go play more pickleball!

Super impressed today! This clinic followed the earlier Skills Drills Clinic (which was 2 hrs) and seven from that clinic were also registered for this clinic (also 2 hrs).  Keep in mind, this is the ARC (55+) So we had seven eager students here for both clinics (back to back, 4 hrs total)!!  

We covered a lot of information and drilled game play scenarios to learn and reinforce the concepts & strategies!  We really enjoy our ARC students, who are terrific model students and yet always smiling and laughing, such a pleasure! 

Thank you to our Instructors; Amy Dirkes & Lee Lim!! Such terrific ladies with so much energy and enthusiasm when teaching our students!! 

Kudos to our ten students at the ARC who ventured into Drilling to improve and hone their pickleball skills! Excellent work by all as they were focussed and eager to learn. Thank you to our excellent Instructors: George Wilson and Amy Dirkes! They make learning fun!!

We are pleased to share the news that the resurfacing of the Ironwood PB Courts will begin on Monday, August 26th!!  with completion expected by September 6th.  Signage will be posted.  It will be wonderful to have our six beautiful courts at Ironwood! 

With Ironwood closed for that period, surely we will have more players at Underwood & Rollingbrook PB Courts! Let's use our Paddle Racks to get rotations of people on/off courts for maximum fun for all!!

Great turnout as usual!  Thank you to our BNPBC Instructors (Peggy Fischer, Cindy Leake, Amy DIrkes).  Our fourteen beginners picked up very quickly and were playing out games like veterans of the game (including the laughs of excitement!). While at Ironwood, a group of ladies passed by us as we were starting the session and said "we took a clinic from you and we are still playing! we love it! thank you for teaching us!"   We are so happy to know that we are helping people get started and addicted to this healthy activity/sport!! 

Thank you to our BNPBC Instructors (Amy Dirkes and Elaine Stocks) for working with our group of Beginners at the Eastview Community Center. Our beginners are getting better and better so we are adjusting our instruction accordingly! Thank you also to ECC for providing their venue for our Free Learn to Play sessions! 

Super fun group of ten kiddos today (ages 5 - 11) at the YMCA!!  Surprisingly, when we asked "who had played pickleball before", all but one (our 5 yr old, who did great!!) said excitedly "me!"  We thoroughly enjoyed teaching just as much as they enjoyed learning and exercising their pickleball skills! This was the last "youth" clinic on our schedule for the summer as the kids head back to school! We will look forward to more opportunities to teach more youth classes, so watch for announcements.
